Who We Are
Parliamentary Debate (Parli) is one of Townsend's competitive debate teams. We provide a great community for students interested in taking a skills-based approach to public speaking. All of our debates are unscripted, even during competitions. And speaking of competitions, we attend both regional and national tournaments across the Northeast. Every month we compete at high schools throughout New York, and occasionally, we bring our skills to esteemed destinations like Yale, Columbia, and Vassar College.
