Here, you can find general information about meetings, invitationals, and more. Navigate to the season program below for more details.

MEETINGS
We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in Room 504. Tuesday meetings will consist of a lecture/lesson on a Parli skill and an accompanying drill or shortened debate. Thursday meetings will consist of a full debate round.
NYPDL INVITATIONALS
This year, the New York Parliamentary Debate League will host two invitationals monthly, one online and the other in person at a New York City high school. Fees apply only for in-person tournaments. But thanks to the League's low entry fees, we will cover most fees over the course of the year. In May, the League hosts its culminating championship where the top 40 debaters compete.
SPECIAL INVITATIONALS
We compete at a number of special invitationals held throughout the year at destinations like Columbia University and Yale University. These competitions almost always involve higher costs and may necessitate overnight stays.
We will be in touch with members about attending special invitationals.

Want to get more involved?
Part of constructing arguments on the spot during debates relies on having a solid understanding of what's going on in the world and how things (e.g., the economy) generally work.
Now, as a member, this is where the stage becomes yours. We consistently extend opportunities for members to prepare lessons and facilitate debates on a topic of their choice.
